Internships

CVA has a number of members who are currently running internship programs. CVA supports and encourages internships and links those who are running internships with those who are looking to expand into that area, as well as providing avenues for guidance and advice.

Usual duration: 12 mths (living onsite)

Interns work towards: a Certificate IV in Outdoor Recreation, as well as complete five of eight units towards a Diploma of Theology, with the ability to complete the remaining units the next year.  Over the course of the year the interns will develop a clearer picture of their God-given calling, all while working, living, studying, and having fun on our campsites.

Interns work towards: A Certificate III in Outdoor Recreation. As an intern at Lutanda Mt Victoria, you will have the opportunity to work 3 days a week with youth and adults and train to be an outdoor recreation professional.

Working with several prominent Aboriginal Christians the QCCC CAMPFIRE program is an attempt to resurrect the legacy of our continent’s original inhabitants within the context of Outdoor Education and Recreation. The program is an inseparable combination of Aboriginal story and training in Outdoor Education and Christian Discipleship.
