Chair: Andrew Grant
Andrew is the Director of Camping for Queensland Baptists. QCCC host 50,000 people annually, the majority of them unchurched.
He has an Economics degree and twenty years experience in the business world, operating businesses as a coal-face method of discipleship and ministry.
He lives at Mapleton, with his wife Anne and three sons. Andrew is currently halfway through a Masters Degree in Christian Leadership from the Sydney College of Divinity.
Committee Member: Dallan Lieschke
Dallan is 27 years old and has been working full time in Christian camping for 10 years. He was an intern at Warrambui (in NSW) for one year and then spent five years as the Intern Co-ordinator at Warrambui.
He is currently in his fourth year at Luther Heights Youth Camp (at Coolum) on the Program and Ministry Team. He runs activities, co-ordinates groups and teachers, oversees all equipment (including adventure gear), oversees ordering and maintenance. Dallan also leads and directs on multiple holiday and leadership camps.
His wife is also full time at Luther Heights in the office for school programs.
Committee Member: Barry Rodgers
Barry is married with four children. He has extensive experience in both education and business.
He became the founding principal of Hillcrest Christian College in Victoria in 1981. In 1992, Barry moved to Toowoomba to head up Business Aid, which he co-founded. In 1995, he started Emu Gully Adventure Education Group Inc. in Helidon QLD.
Barry has also served in the Australian Defence Force and has a great interest in our ANZAC history. He is currently Director and life member of the Australian Light Horse Association and has been awarded the Order of Australia for his "work with youth and military history".
Committee Member: Rod Field
Rod is the founder and CEO of Higher Ground and has been working in the field of Outdoor Education and Experiential Learning since 1993.
He has worked extensively both nationally and internationally with diverse groups ranging from executives and community leaders, to "at-risk" young people and school groups.
Rod started Higher Ground based on a simple fundamental belief that adventure and fun are essential in the development of the whole person and to this day, Higher Ground continues to seek to provide experiences, places and spaces that challenge and empower individuals in the pursuit of becoming Confident Individuals, Life Long Learners and Responsible Global Citizens.
Committee Member: Tim Hutton
Tim has a passion for youth, outdoor and camping ministry.
He has trained for work in national parks; has worked for local governments and in private industry; has run sea kayaking and sand boarding tours on, in and around Moreton Bay and has led groups in remote bushwalking/hiking trips and is a Specialist District Director for the South Queensland Conference for Pathfinders.
Tim transferred from Watson Park Convention Centre (north of Brisbane) to head up the team at Camp Somerset which is located in a bush setting on the banks of Lake Somerset. Tim hopes to continue the site's growth but more importantly, the site's effect on the lives of those who visit, for the enrichment of Christ's Kingdom.

Andrew has long been a supporter Christian camping and experiential education.
After growing up attending CYC Burleigh as a camper, then hut leader, then camp leader, Andrew joined the board of CYC in 2005. After period of time spent teaching, Andrew applied for and was given the role of CEO of CYC Burleigh in 2010.
Andrew is married to Alizah and together they have three children, Louis, Evie and Lola.
