Chair: Greg Thomas

He is a long term supporter of CVA & is a current Business & Personal Member.
He has extensive experience in insurance, including 10 years with Ansvar and 15 years running his own business.
Regional Representative: Paul Coleman
Paul has been involved in camping with young people for the last 24 years. He started as a camp volunteer leader while he was doing Year 10 at school. After 10 years of volunteering, he decided that he needed to step it up a notch. After gaining some qualifications in Outdoor Recreation, he began working full time at Breakaway Camps as Program Co-ordinator and four years later when the director retired, he was promoted.
Paul has a real passion and a heart for young people and believes that camping programs are one of the best platforms to connect and encourage youth.
He met his wife of 11 years in the Christian camping industry and their two young kids have already become part of it.
Committee Member: Shanon Presow
Shanon got hooked on camping when he went to his first camp at Forest Edge CYC at age 13.
Coming to know Jesus on this camp, he has always been attached to camping. Leaving school, he started work at that campsite. While working there from 2008 till 2011, he started to get involved with CVA by going to the National conference.
He was national sales manager for Phase Change Converters for 3 years. After finishing that, he completed a church planting internship through Rope Factory Church and worked at Forest Edge CYC as a part of the ground staff team. He is still heavily involved at Rope Factory Church as a Deacon.
He is now working for CYC Ministries as well as studying a Diploma of Christian Studies at Melbourne School of Theology part time. He looks forward to being involved in CVA in a more hands-on role.
Committee Member: Darren Blood
Darren grew up in Christian camping where his parents were managers of CYTA Lodge in Cooma.
It was there that his passion for camping and ministry was birthed. Since then he has been involved in working for CYTA Lodge, Pacific Lodge, Mill Valley Ranch, Phillip Island Adventure Resort, CYC Ministries, and is now the Ministry Manager for Baptist Camping Victoria.
He is married to his beautiful wife Sam, and they have two boys Jayden and Noah, who already share a passion and excitement for camping … just like their parents!
