Member organisations are situated from Darwin to Hobart, Perth to Brisbane and many points in between. They range in size from 16 bed cottages to 600 bed complexes with meeting facilities that can cater for up to 6000 at a time. There are over 24,500 beds available each night through members facilities. Members provide conference, retreat, and camp venues as well as activity based programmes.
The centres and activity providers are used by Church and Youth Groups for retreats and workshops; School Groups for excursions, outdoor education, religious retreats and study/peer group workshops; and Community and Commercial Groups for workshops and training.
Members are administered by a variety of groups; these include major Christian denominations, small incorporated committees, and a few that are funded by families or individuals.
One of the primary aims of each of the member organisations is the spread of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the nurturing of Christians in their faith.
As these organisations are mission focused, they strive to provide their services at prices well below commercial rates. Their staff share the mission, and so there are many volunteers and employees who provide their time and services as a gift to their organisations.
