SITE ENVIRONMENT: Waterslea is a brand new facility, architecturally and environmentally designed to blend in with the surrounding bushland. Koloona has recently been modernised with new accommodation units to maximise the comfort offered to guests.
DISTANCE AND DIRECTION FROM SYDNEY: The Centres are located 2.5 hours south of Sydney, just 13km upstream from Nowra.
ACCOMMODATION: Waterslea - 130 in ensuited accommodation for 4 or 6 people, catered option only, 26 air conditioned rooms. Koloona - 68 in ensuited accommodation for 4 people, catered or self catered option, 16 rooms. Groups can book both centres for a capacity of 200.
ADDITIONAL:
PROVIDED: Mattress, pillow, blanket. Linen available for hire, if pre-arranged.
CATERING: Waterslea - fully catered. Koloona - fully catered or self-catered.
FACILITIES ON SITE: Koloona - separate dining and meeting rooms. Waterslea - meeting hall and dining room for 200, 3 small meeting rooms for 25, games room, conference facilities.
OUTDOORS: Both sites - Volleyball courts, ovals, 25m swimming pool, jetty, archery, ropes course, canoeing, abseiling, caving, bushwalks, fishing, initiative course, 2km river frontage.
FACILITIES OFF SITE: Bundanon - the Arthur Boyd property is adjacent, Berry and Kangaroo Valley a 20-30 minute drive, and all the attractions of the Shoalhaven area.
PROGRAMMING: Midweek fully programmed Horizon Educational Camps offered to schools. Fully supervised HSC and holiday camp programs for primary & secondary students.
FIRST AID: Kit available, all staff running activities are first aid qualified.
