SITE ENVIRONMENT: 16ha of lush peaceful bushland in the Southern Highlands, adjacent to Morton National Park. Warm temperate rainforest, native wildlife, beautiful year round.
DISTANCE AND DIRECTION FROM SYDNEY: 2 hours (140km) from centre of Sydney, turning off the Hume Hwy at Mittagong. 1.5hours from south east sydney via Wollongong, and only 2hrs from Canberra.
ACCOMMODATION:
Belmore: Renovated early 2010. Six ensuited rooms of 13 beds and three smaller ensuited rooms for teachers/speakers etc - Total 90 beds.
Carrington: Eight ensuited rooms of 8 beds, 1 ensuited room of 2 beds, plus staff retreat with 3 bedrooms, a bathroom, and lounge room. - Total 80 beds.
Heating available in all rooms.
ADDITIONAL: ADDITIONAL: Six family cabins with kitchenette sleeping up to 6 people. Pwered sites for caravans and tents. Amenities block with showers, toilets and laundry.
PROVIDED: Mattress, pillow, blanket. Guests should bring own linen/sleeping bags and towels, high chair, white boards, tv and dvd player in each site.
CATERING: Either self catered or fully catered.
FACILITIES ON SITE: Log fires, commercial kitchens, large recreation hall, TV, video, OHP, screen, whiteboard. AV equipment available for hire. Games room with pool tables, table tennis, indoor heated swimming pool, washing machines and dryers.
OUTDOORS: Log Chapel, tennis courts, basketball, mini golf course, beach volleyball, cricket nets, camp fire area, large sports field, sporting equipment all included in your accomodation charge. Archery, low ropes course, tree climb, giant swing, challenge ladder, group challenge activities all available with our instructors - enquire for rates.
FACILITIES OFF SITE: Many educational, recreational or adventure activities available in the surrounding areas, bus tours and farm visits arranged on request. Let us know what you would like to do, and we can assist you in organising it!
PROGRAMMING: Fully programmed school camps. Day programs available. We can cater a program to your educational requirements or a theme.
