Membership Benefits and Responsibilities.


 


Membership in Christian Venues Association is open to all organisations and persons involved in or with a direct interest in Christian conferences, retreats, camping & hospitality ministries. Members are required to affirm and sign the Association Statement of Faith and Code of Conduct annually and Applicants need to provide supportive documentation of their commitment to evangelism and discipleship through their ministry.

Six Membership Classifications are currently available and defined below. Christian Camping is defined on the ABOUT US Page

Student All persons engaged in full-time study at a School, College/University, Technical College, CAE, Bible College, etc. involved in or with a direct interest in Christian camping.
Personal Individuals involved in or with a direct interest in Christian camping (Board Member from a Camp or Conference Centre, Voluntary Staff, Full-time Staff, Camp or Conference Centre Cooks, etc.)
Link Churches and Camping Agencies/Organisations with a direct interest in Christian camping (e.g. user groups)
Organisational All Christian Conference Centres,Camps and/or Camping Agencies/Organisations and Activity or Service Providers.
Associate Individuals associated with an Organisational Member and nominated by that Member as part of their membership benefit.
Business Businesses that wish to indicate their support for Christian Venues by joining the Association.

Christian Venues Association Policy on Membership Fees for organisations with Multiple Sites Centres.

As amended - May 2005.
To determine if multiple memberships in the Association are applicable, organisations are asked to consider the following criteria. If 50 points are accumulated a separate membership is required for that site/centre/organisation.
  Is there
  • a separate street address/location?
 50 points
  • a separate site manager?
 50 points
  • separate invoicing?
 20 points  
  • a separate phone number for bookings?
 20 points  
  • separate advertising/white pages entry?
 20 points
