CVA: Where Members Thrive
One of two Elective Core Subjects, Reflection and analysis of approach to Christian camping in North America (P8XXX), gives students the opportunity to participate in a group Study Tour.
The tour is run every three years (numbers pending) and takes in selected Christian Camp and Conference Association member sites in North America. Run over a 10 - 12 day period, the aim of the tour is to visit, experience, and reflect on the ways in which these member sites operate and undertake their unique ministry. Tour accommodation is at the member sites, with many opportunities to spend time with camp leaders and staff, asking questions, sharing ideas, and learning from each other.
From this tour, students will reflect and analyse the approaches seen, whilst also considering the impact of what they have learnt on their own leadership and planning.
